Affiliated Clubs, Ajax Cape Town needs to be moved from currently affiliated clubs to past affiliated clubs since the club is no longer the majority shareholder and the team will continue as the Cape Town Spurs as per October 1st, 2020. I would place the between Ashanti Goldfields and Ajax Orlando Prospects since they were established in 1999. Thank you for your consideration. [1]

Football violence by Maccabi Tel Aviv fans

[edit]

Sorry, but it is patently ridiculous to have exclusively pro-Israeli sources telling what has been proven (repeatedly) to be a lie. Tel Aviv fans, some of the most far right and racist in the world, attacked Amsterdam residents (notably Arab taxi drivers) and the people of Amsterdam fought back. To use sources calling this "anti-Semitic" or a "pogrom", including that of the club itself, are an injustice to the truth and don't belong on Wikipedia. 80.2.16.16 (talk) 23:31, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The full Wikipedia article about the event explains the context in more detail from both perspectives. I think the summary I wrote here takes a neutral stance due to not saying anything about who attacked who.
I don't see a justification for removing any of the existing sources, but when I get a chance, I'll add some sources with an opposing slant, such as https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/11/8/israeli-football-fans-clash-with-protesters-in-amsterdam and https://www.footboom1.com/en/news/football/2039579-maccabi-tel-aviv-fans-boo-silence-for-dana-victims, and https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israeli-hooligans-provoke-clashes-amsterdam-after-chanting-anti-palestinian-slogans, as well as sources that seem relatively neutral, such as https://news.sky.com/story/what-we-know-about-violence-involving-football-fans-in-amsterdam-13250618 and https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5908576/2024/11/09/maccabi-tel-aviv-fans-attacked-why/ .
